One of the challenges Lubes’n’Greases has faced on the journey to becoming carbon neutral is gathering data, even for a relatively small company such as ours with fairly straightforward operating procedures. This data ranges from energy use, waste production, water consumption and employee commuting, among others.

The company that is guiding us through this process, Fokus Zunkunft, advises if it isn’t possible to get every number precisely, they can provide benchmark data from a huge database, which they have grown over the years. However, the final calculations are still serious and can be validated. Indeed, most companies do not have all the data available.
