RelaDyne acquired Oil Flush, an industrial lubrication service provider based in Chihuahua, Mexico. The acquisition further expands RelaDyne’s presence in Latin America following two earlier acquisitions within the past five years.
Industry consultants Kline & Co. predicts that finished lubricant demand in Latin America with reach 4.5 million tons in 2029, up from an estimated 4.1 million tonnes in 2024. Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru the largest individual markets in the region.
The purchase of Oil Flush is the latest in a steady stream of acquisitions that have made RelaDyne the largest lubricant distributor in the United States and a major presence in industrial reliability services. The company is also the world’s largest distributor of Chevron finished lubricants.
Oil Flush provides high-velocity oil flushing, chemical cleaning, varnish removal and oil conditioning.
“This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our investment in the Latin American region, particularly the industrial sector,” Guillermo Méndez, CEO of Grupo Lucalza, a RelaDyne company, said in a press release.
In 2019, RelaDyne acquired Siicelub, which provides specialty flushing services and preventative maintenance. This added locations in South America and the Caribbean. The company then announced in March 2023 that for an undisclosed sum it acquired Grupo Lucalza, which distributes lubes and fuels in several Latin American countries.
